The BC39 is a USAC National Midget car race held on a 1/4-mile dirt
oval in the 3rd Turn Infield of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The race has attracted Nascar and IndyCar drivers who compete
with USAC Midget National Championship Drivers.

The race is named in honor of Bryan Clausen, an American dirt-track
champion who made it to the Indy 500 three times.

On August 6, 2016, Clauson was involved in a midget car crash at
Belleville High-Banks Speedway in Kansas, and died the following
night at age 27.

This event also promotes organ donation through the Indiana Donor
Network. Clauson saved five lives as an organ donor.

2023 BC39 Entry List
A brand-new format will be used in 2023 as the event expands from a two-day event to a four-day event.
This year's event will feature practice and the traditional Stoops Pursuit race on Wednesday night.
That will set the stage for a pair of split field qualifying nights on Thursday and Friday.
Semi features and mains, including the $20,039 main event, will be held on Saturday.
