Fall Fest with football and a fun parade downtown.  
This is another big event from the African-American
folks in Indy.
On Indy's far southside at the German Klub, lasts
two weekends. Carnival, German beer and food,
gambling, music and dancing.    This event has
been going on for over 32 years.
At the convention center downtown.
For 17 days every 4 years, the best rising violinist
converge on Indianapolis.  Next: 2010.

Indianapolis has a storied jazz past, but you will get
more than jazz at this big outdoor multi-day festival.  
Top blues and r&b artists perform too.   The Indy
Jazz Fest began in 1999.  Held in July, it attracts
over 100,000 people to  White River State Park's
Military Park in downtown Indianapolis.
One of the largest fairs in the nation.  It was
established back in 1852 to showcase agriculture,
education and the youth of our state.
