       Sunday May 21st 2006 - BUMP DAY

Today was overcast with moderate temperatures. However the
sun came out in the afternoon and the day turned out beautiful.

There was a get together of Pace Car owners. Many different
years of pace cars were parked all down Hulman Blvd in the
middle of the infield. I took many pictures. These photos will go
on my Pace Car web page, not here.    Well.... I'll show you a
couple....

Our Armed Forces displayed many types of their helicopters
including this big boy. It appears to have turbo jets on the back.
The rear hatch was down and I walked inside it.

Today was Armed Forces day and veterans got in free.

Indy 500 rookie PJ Chesson added
to his tatoos today. He had an
"Indy 500 '06" put on his right
bicep in the Alley Cat's area. Here
he is showing a fan. The black
haired girl in the next photo was in
his entourage.

Buddy Lazier's crew mounted a fan on the dash to try and keep him
cool.

I was there in the pits when Thiago Mederios qualified for PDM
Racing. He will be starting in 33rd position.

THE 90TH INDY 500 WILL HAVE A FULL FIELD!!!!
