Changes to Race Cars This Year
While the chassis may be the same Dallara DW-12 as last year, gone are Chevrolet and Honda's aero kits,
replaced by aero kits produced by Dallara for all race teams.
The cars got better looking, with the most obvious change being the removal of the rear "fenders".
The aero parts on the sides of the car are very different as well.
Less obvious are IndyCar's switch from Brembo brake calipers to PFCs.
The calipers supposedly are less grabby and with a more consistent feel.
