Rolex 24 GTP Winner Penalized
March 8 - Meyer Shank Racing has been
penalized for manipulating tire pressures during
the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
There are set minimum inflation levels set for
safety and they falsified the tire data given to
IMSA for the No. 60 car, which was driven by
Helio Castroneves, Simon Pagenaud, Tom
Blomqvist and Colin Braun. Lower pressure
would allow them to have more traction in the
turns.
March 8 - Meyer Shank Racing has been

points.

Endurance Cup points.
* Loss of race prize money.
* Team receives a $50,000 fine.
* Team and Entrant representative Mike Shank
placed on probation through June 30, 2023.
* Revocation of IMSA annual credential and
indefinite suspension of IMSA membership for
team engineer Ryan McCarthy.

Music Acts For Indy 500
March 30 - All of the music acts have now been
announced for the 3 major concerts held during the
Indy 500 weekend.
CARB DAY - FRIDAY - MAY 26
Soul Asylum - this alternative rock band released
the triple-platinum album Grave Dancers Union
in 1992 and the platinum album Let Your Dim
Light Shine in 1995. Dave Pirner, their lead
singer, is still with the band.
Bryan Adams - He broke on the scene in 1983
with the album Cuts Like A Knife. His 1991 song
"(Everything I Do) I Do It for You" was popular.
He has been singing a lot of ballads since then.
LEGENDS DAY - SATURDAY - MAY 27
Russell Dickerson - This country pop singer has
released these popular songs since 2015:
"Yours", "Blue Tacoma", "Every Little Thing", and
“Love You Like I Used To”.
Jackson Dean - is a country singer who had the
hit song "Don't Come Lookin" in 2021.
Brad Paisley - This multi-grammy winning country
singer has released 11 studio albums since 1999,
all of which have gone Gold or higher. He has had
20 songs reach number 1 on the US Billboard
Country Airplay chart and is a member of the
Grand Ole Opry.
SNAKE PIT - SUNDAY - MAY 28
Kaskade - is a DJ that has recorded 12 studio
albums and received seven Grammy nominations.
Subtronics - a dubstep DJ known for his 2019
song "Griztronics".
John Summit - is a DJ from Chicago known for his
mixes of Deep End, Make Me Feel, and Human.
DJ DIESEL - (aka Shaquille O’Neal) The former
NBA star has been DJing since college. He has
released four rap albums, with his first, Shaq
Diesel, going platinum. In 2021, O'Neal performed
his first ever set as DJ DIESEL.
Jauz - is an American DJ based in San Francisco
and has been producing chill trap, bass house and
dubstep.
