Carb Day Concert Acts Announced
Mar 19 - Three bands have been hired to perform
this year in the Carb Day Concert.
Each is a different music genre from different
generations.
Representing the 80s is the boogie-woogie high-
energy blues rocker George Thorogood, who is
now 74-years-old.
From the 90s comes the Gin Blossoms, an alt-
rock band. The original band members are intact
except for the drummer. They are around age 60.
Both of the above have numerous hit songs that
Gen X and Millenials likely know.
The warm-up act is Kid Quill, a 30-year-old white
rapper representing the 2010s.
Will having such varied music make everyone
happy? Time will tell.
