My friends E.T., Koz and his wife drove into Indy last night from Michigan.
We left for the track at 11:30 am. We came up Holt Road, but the police
had Olin Rd blocked off, so we turned left and went and parked at Dotlich
Crane. The IndyCar practice ended before we could reach some seats.

We sat in Stand E, Box 3, Row R. It was
hot and muggy so we sat on the top row
to catch some breeze.
Soon the Indy Light's Freedom 100 race
began.
We saw a couple accidents in turn one.
4 caution periods slowed this short race.
Jerome drove his motorcycle up and met
us at our seats.

After the race ended, we grabbed
some food and headed over to the
concert area.
There were a lot of people and the
lines for food was long. My $5 burger
was half the size than in years past.
I ended up having to also buy a $7
rib-eye sandwich.

Transformer.
We hooked up with DR & his gf Debbie,
BW and his neighbor Rich.

I was too far from the stage to see well.
During a break this guy came out and I
thought it was Carrot Top.
But once I got home and saw this zoomed
in photo, I realized it was the Geico caveman!

Some people gathered outside the
catch fence and watched the concert
from a viewing hill.
