Changes to Race Cars This Year:
A new driver protection system is mandated. It is a combination of the F1-style halo with a wrap-
around windshield added. This new feature not only gives the driver protection from flying debris,
but sharply reduces wind buffeting on the driver. However, it also reduces air flow into the cockpit,
so ducts will be added to let air in to combat the heat. They are calling it the "aeroscreen."
