Indianapolis 500 POLE DAY
May 18, 2013
Yesterday, Tim, BW and I rode our motorbikes to the
speedway.  Rain was forcast and they didn't want to get
caught in it, so we just rode around the outside and
didn't go in.  However we got to hear the cars.  We had
a good time and made it back to my house before a
torrent of rain fell.  4.5 minute Video of Ride

Michie came up with some Hulman Suite tickets for today.

It rained this morning and qualifying was delayed.

Ron and I drove over to the track after things had dried out.

Our suite was above Stand C.  There was food (dip, fried
biscuits, beef bar-b-que, and fried chicken.)  They also
had vodka and beer.  I saw a very cool special edition
Fuzzy's Vodka bottle.  The inside was a photo of the
speedway.

Sorry about these photos.  My niece needed my
good camera for some project and I took my new
pocket camera.  Unfortunately it was set to special
effects the whole day.

We didn't stay in the suite long.  We checked out
some garage/pit passes and headed there.

The Fast 9 qualifying was supposed to
run from 4:30-6pm but instead started
at 6:30.
