Danica started fourth in the 2005 Indy 500. She was driving for Rahal Letterman Racing.
After surviving numerous problems in the race, the 23 y/o rookie ended up leading the
race at the end and almost won! She finished fourth.
It was the most exciting Indianapolis 500 in decades.
Then, in 2006, Danica started in 8th, was capable of winning once again, and finished in 8th.
It too was an exciting race!
