1956-61 Indianapolis 500 Photos
I thank Mannie Lambert from Texas, who sent me these photos.
His mom and dad used to live in Pierceton Indiana.  His dad was a
truckdriver who was on the road all the time.  The only event they
attended together was to travel to the Indy 500, which they did
between 1956-1962, when they moved to Chicago..  His dad died
the next year.

Lambert has shown up to time trials and the race periodically since.

This year, 2015, he is bringing his daughters "back to the
homeland" and to the Indy 500!
